Mushroom Dumplings Recipe


50g of finely chopped mushrooms
100g of suet
250g of self-raising flour
250mls of milk
15mls of chopped fresh thyme
45mls of chopped fresh parsley

How To Make Mushroom Dumplings

Sift the flour and then add the suet and the herbs and mix.

Add the mushrooms and the milk and then mix into a soft dough.

Add flour to your hands and then take the dough mixture and form into individual dumplings of about a thumb size.

Add to your cooking casserole and cook, with the lid off, for about 10 minutes.
