How To Make Chocolate Chip Cookie

Pre heat an oven to gas mark 4, 350F or 180C.

Break up the chocolate bar and place the pieces into a mixing bowl along with the nuts if they are used. Set aside for later.

Place the soft butter into another mixing bowl or into a food mixer. Add both the sugars and beat or whisk until this mixture becomes soft and fluffy.
