The uncredited voice of Charles Townsend in the original TV series Charlie's Angels was actor John Forsythe. He co starred with Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, Shelley Hack, Tanya Roberts and David Doyle. The series ran from 1976 - 1981.

John Forsythe reprised his role of Charlie in the two films Charlie's Angels (2000) and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003) which starred Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, Bill Murray, Bernie Mac and Matt LeBlanc.
