How To Make Sugar Mice - Easy Recipe
Easy recipe to make tasty sugar mice. Also includes where to buy sugar mice and sugar pigs:
This fun and easy to do recipe will make four sugar mice:
Ingredients For Sugar Mice
340g of icing sugar
1 egg white
shelled peanuts for the ears or small white or plain chocolate drops or buttons for those with a peanut allergy
Currants for the eyes of each sugar mouse
Two drops of peppermint essence
Liquorice strings for the tails of the sugar mice
Red Colouring if you want to make pink sugar mice
Instructions To Make Sugar Mice
Beat the egg white in a bowl until the contents go frothy, though they should not get stiff.

Sift the icing sugar into the bowl and stir in the beaten egg white until the mixture becomes stiff.
Add the peppermint essence and knead in the mixture.
Break into four even sized pieces.
Shape each piece into an oval shape in your hands, pinching one end of each oval to make a pointed snout like a mouse.
Add either the peanuts or the chocolate drops for the ears and the currants to form the eyes.
Add the liquorice strings for the tails.
Put aside to set and enjoy later with the children.
