How To Remove Candle Wax And Grease From A Rug?

To remove spilled candle wax and grease from a surface such as a rug you will need to remove as much of the wax and grease as possible.

Then place a sheet of absorbent kitchen paper or brown paper above and below the spilt wax stain.

Gently press with a warm iron. Move the paper around so that clean parts come in contact with the wax and the iron so that the wax is absorbed.

You can also use a heated spoon to remove the wax from rugs by gently heating a spoon.

Place a damp piece of absorbent kitchen paper or brown paper onto the stain.

Rub the bowl area of the spoon onto the paper with the stain under it. The heat should gently remove the wax.
