How To Make Low Fat Chips




This recipe is ideal for people who love chips but don't like greasy chips or who are on a diet.


Ingredients For Low Fat Chips


1kg of potatoes
Fry light oil



How To Cook Low Fat Chips


Peel the potatoes and then cut them into thick chips.


Boil a pan of water, salted if desired, and add the cut potatoes once boiled and cook for 5 minutes.


Remove from the heat, drain and wrap around on kitchen towel to remove the water. Leave for about 10 minutes.


Place them into a dry pan and shake to roughen up the edges. This will make the chips more crispier.


With the fry light oil spray a non stick baking tray. Spread out the chips onto the tray and then spray the chips.


In a pre heated oven at 240 C or gas mark 9 cook for 30 minutes.


Turn the chips over during the cooking and remove from the oven once golden coloured.
