How To Make A Chocolate and Cranberry Tart
The secret to making a tastier Chocolate and Cranberry Tart is to soak the cranberries in the alcohol for as long as possible. Though the recipe can be baked with only soaking the fruit for an hour if you can do try and soak the berries for several days to give a richer taste much like would be done with Christmas pudding fruits.
When ready to start making the Chocolate and Cranberry Tart from this recipe then switch on the oven and preheat it to gas mark 4, 180C or 350F whilst preparing the tart.
Now line with the ready made pastry a greased 23cm loose bottomed tart tin and put this into the fridge to chill for about half an hour.
Prick the base with a fork to allow air to escape during cooking. Put into the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
Melt the chocolate, cream and butter together and stir gently then set aside to cool down.

Whisk up the eggs with the sugar. This mixture should become pale and then thicken. When it does so whisk in the corn flour.
Fold in the chocolate mixture.
Drain the alcohol from the cranberries and then add the fruit into the new mixture and mix well so the fruits blend with the chocolate mix. Pour this mixture into the tart case and spread evenly.
Bake in the oven for about twenty minutes when the Chocolate and Cranberry Tart should be set. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
Serve the Chocolate and Cranberry Tart with cream, ice-cream or custard.
