Chicken Stew Recipe
How to make Chicken Stew with this easy to cook recipe to serve 4.
Ingredients For Chicken Stew
4 large chicken thighs
2 medium sweet potatoes chopped into chunks
450g of seasonal vegetables such as carrots, leeks and turnips
4 tablespoons of chicken gravy granules
1 teaspoon of olive oil
60mls of boiling water

Cooking Instructions For Chicken Stew
Preheat the oven to gas mark 6 or 200 C.
In a large ovenproof casserole dish heat the oil on the hob over a medium heat.
Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes so that the chicken becomes golden brown.
Remove the chicken from the casserole dish and set aside.
Add the vegetables and cook until they are soft.
Remove the casserole dish from the heat and add the chicken.
Make up the chicken stock by adding about 400mls of boiling water to the chicken granules and add to the casserole
dish.
Cover and cook for about 40 minutes.
