CLIC Sargent is a registered charity and is the UK's leading children's cancer charity and each day there are about 10 families who are told that their child has cancer. CLIC Sargent is an organisation that can offer all the family members all round care and support. For example CLIC Sargent can provide:
  • Specialist nurses, doctors, play specialists and homes from home care during treatment

  • Specialist social care and family support in the community or in hospital

  • Specialist youth services, holidays, grants and a helpline

  • After treatment CLIC Sargent will help the survivors and support those bereaved

  • Continue research into childhood cancer

The Drummer Boy


The Drummer Boy is my latest novel about the ghost of a Gordon Highlander Drummer Boy from the Battle of Waterloo who haunts a modern day army nurse.


It is packed with trivia about the Napoleonic War, His Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen, the history of Tidworth Military Hospital and about modern day nursing and emergency first aid as well as the battlefield medical care during the Battle of Waterloo.
